For me, the main goal of all marketing activities is to generate money for a company. Either by directly generating leads and new customers or by increasing awareness of your brand.

SEO and Digital Marketing
Marketing includes all actions your company takes to attract audiences through high-quality messaging. Marketing aims to deliver standalone value for potential customers through content, with the long-term goal of demonstrating product value, strengthening brand loyalty, and increasing sales.
But just doing marketing for marketing’s sake does not achieve those goals. Way too often, companies spend resources on marketing activities without having clear goals and just doing stuff because “we must do marketing:” I do not like this approach.
Marketing must be measured. I believe that all marketing activities must have clear goals (either OKRs or KPIs) that show how marketing helps you achieve your company’s goals and long-term vision. This is especially vital in digital marketing where almost all marketing actions can be measured.
When there is an idea for any marketing activity, my first question is always “Why?” What does this specific channel or campaign achieve? How does it provide value for a company? Would it be more cost-effective to get the same result with some other idea? This attitude has helped me provide a positive ROI on marketing activities for every company that I have worked with.
